Custom Python scripts, SQL and web automation that connect your systems
Sometimes the thing you need does not exist in a menu or a plugin. That is where light custom work helps. I build small, targeted pieces that move your data, clean it and line it up so your tools finally talk to each other.
You do not get a huge system that takes months to learn. You get exactly what is missing, built in plain code you can actually own.
Small custom work that fills the gap your tools left open
Most software does ninety percent of what you need. The last ten percent is where people get stuck, and where they end up copying numbers by hand at the end of every week. I close that gap with a little focused code.
The work falls into a few plain buckets. I write custom Python scripts that pull data out of one place, clean it up and drop it where it needs to go, so the report you build by hand every Monday builds itself. I do SQL consulting, writing queries and views that feed your dashboards with clean, ready data instead of raw tables nobody can read. I build lightweight web components and small automations using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the little widget or page or button that does the one job no off the shelf tool covers.
The biggest wins usually come from API integration and web automation, the part where I link email, spreadsheets, databases and reporting tools together so work flows instead of getting stuck. When a new order comes in, it lands in your sheet. When a sheet changes, your dashboard updates. When a report is due, it is already sitting in your inbox. You stop being the bridge between systems and start getting your time back.
If you are running on HumbleSuite, the all in one platform I also built at humblesuite.com, a lot of this is already handled inside it. But when you have older tools you cannot replace yet, this is how I connect them. I would rather make what you have work together than tell you to throw it all out.
Concrete pieces that do one job well
Everything here is small, named and yours. No black boxes, no licenses to renew, no platform you are trapped inside.
Code and connections built around your actual workflow
Each deliverable solves a real bottleneck you can point to today.
- Custom Python scripts that move data between tools, clean it and shape it for reporting.
- SQL queries and views that feed your dashboards with clean, ready data.
- API integration that connects systems with no built in link, so they share data on their own.
- Web automation that runs on a schedule, so the weekly export or update happens without you.
- Lightweight web components in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the one screen or button you are missing.
- Links between email, spreadsheets, databases and reporting tools so work flows end to end.
- Plain notes and comments so you, or any developer you hire later, can run and edit it.
You get exactly what is missing, nothing more, and you own all of it the day it ships.
If any of these sound familiar, a little custom glue will help
These are the everyday signs that two of your tools are not talking, and a person is paying for it with their time.
- Someone exports a file from one system and pastes it into another every single week.
- Your dashboard looks great but the data behind it is cleaned by hand first.
- Two tools you rely on have no way to share information, so you copy between them.
- A report that should take minutes takes half a day because the numbers live in five places.
- You looked for a plugin or an integration and it just does not exist.
- You know the data is there, you just cannot get it lined up the way you need it.
Operations and finance leaders feel this most, because the reporting always lands on them. If that is you, this work quietly hands the hours back.
A calm four step path from stuck to flowing
No giant kickoff, no months of meetings. I keep it small and clear so you always know what is happening.
Discovery
We talk through the one thing that is stuck. You show me the tools, the export, the report. I learn where the data lives and where it needs to land.
Design
I sketch the smallest piece that solves it, a script, a query, a connection, and tell you plainly what it will and will not do before any code is written.
Build
I write it in plain Python, SQL or web code, test it against your real data, and connect the tools so the data moves on its own.
Poise and tuning
We run it together, smooth the rough edges, and I leave you with notes so it keeps working long after I step away. Point of control, right at your fingertips.
A few things people ask first
Will I be stuck with code only you can maintain?
No. I write small, plain scripts with comments, and I hand over everything with a short note on how it runs and where it lives. You own it. If your team has a developer, they can pick it up. If you would rather I stay on call for tweaks, I am happy to, but you are never locked in.
Can you connect tools that do not have a built in integration?
Usually yes. Most tools offer an API, an export, or at least a spreadsheet you can pull from. I use Python and SQL to bridge the gap between email, spreadsheets, databases and reporting tools so data moves on its own instead of by hand. If a real connection is not possible, I will tell you that early rather than promising magic.
How small can a project be?
Very small. A single script that cleans one messy export and drops it where your dashboard needs it is a real project and a great first step. I would rather solve the one thing that is stuck than sell you a big system you do not need.
Where to go next
- Dashboards and reporting, where this clean data usually ends up.
- Operations and finance leaders, the folks who feel this pain most.
- HumbleSuite, the all in one platform I built when you would rather replace the patchwork than connect it.
Tell me what is not connecting
Send me the one report that takes too long, or the two tools that will not talk, and I will tell you honestly whether a little custom code can fix it. I work with teams across the Front Range in person and the whole country remotely, and I welcome veteran owned businesses and public sector or grant funded teams. I am based near Colorado Springs, Colorado.
I reply personally. No bots, no giant intake forms.
